This is from the city of Springfield

Starting the week of April 14^th our crews will be in the south west region of the city picking up branches, we try and remind residents to have their branches placed out by the Monday of their pick up week. As well as being mindful of placing branches by utility boxes, mailboxes and fire hydrants. The second item is that starting on April 7^th to May 3^rdCity of Springfield residents may take yard waste bags to Evan Recycling (2100 J David Jones Pkwy) free of charge. The bi weekly yard waste pick up will still run as normal this is just another option for residents to dispose of yard waste.  The last item I wanted to bring up was the 33^rd annual Earth Day Fair which will be held Saturday April 26^th 11am-3pm at Union Square Park (Downtown across from the ALPLM). The event is free and there will be multiple vendors and community organizations in attendance.
